Thanks for the discussion, but I couldn't find anything to agree on quite frankly. This begs the question so allow me to elaborate on this personal opinion. Surely SEO can be scaled (55:00) simply by improving the learning-curve (do it faster) + by obtaining tools that speed up certain SEO processes + finding better methods to come to quicker solutions. The most optimal methods and tools can then (later) be outsourced to an offshore team if business really progresses.

I get the impression that SEO in this group is rather limited (no offence) to keyword research and metatag optimization.. however (important) activities such as speed optimization, htaccess, rss, robots.txt, webmaster tools, rank-tracking , video seo, content syndication, social media optimization, backlinking, security/https, email autoresponders & funnels (and what not other then on-page optimization) are also part of the entire SEO process. These tasks/features I also consider upsells (and sales arguments) and can make good extra money (choice of packages) and for each of these processes the earlier mentioned learning curve and tools apply.

The use of a good stats counter and rank tracker (make it possible to measure results, keeps the customer focussed and eager on SEO and creates undisputable bragging rights for the SEO consultant. All my customers want more and can pay for more since I give generate more business (and status) for them.

Outsourcing text-content is to my opinion rediculous since text is picked up during the research and investigation phase (snippets from Wikipedia, competitor pages, srt files, etc).. you may want to find out about "Content Ferret".

Then.. after seed articles are written Spintext creation for content maximization comes to play, and content syndication using spintext. (used in Ant Alladin). FYI. I surely wouldn't run text blindly through a silly spinrewriter.

In this regard I realy don't understand the reasoning (and could go on).

ps: I use Keyword Researcher Pro (CleverGizmos) to gather, organize and manage all my content (don't do without!).. I think there is a special discount offer at this very moment; more about this on

No offence, broaden your horizon and good luck to you all !
